This was the Young Ranch, also known as the Scotch Outfit, as it was run by Scottish brothers Davis and Richard Young, who came to Wyoming in 1894. They bought the former Hoe Ranch (site of the murder of U.S. Marshall George Wellman in 1892), eventually running about 40,000 sheep. The ranch was later acquired by the Streeter Family.
