The Charles Noble Graves (C.N.) Family is another Heritage Ranch
Family of Kaycee. C.N Graves came to the area from Nebraska in 1901.
Charles Noble Graves was the father of Noble Graves, who had come
earlier to the Barnum area. C.N Graves bought the Harmon Fraker place on
the site of the Dull Knife Battle, while Noble Graves homesteaded just
north of the Barnum place. Descendants of C.N Graves and Noble Graves
continue to own and work these ranches today and live and work in the
Kaycee area.
