Cemetery located at 9th and Ash was established in 1902, to replace the original "Pioneer
Cemetery" north of the city. The cemetery is a 40-acre site with about 5200
total interments to date. The Douglas Historic Preservation Commission has developed
a Walking Tour Brochure of the cemetery highlighting a variety of characters
