  • Douglas Park Cemetery (WY GenWeb Archives)
    additionally, the City of Douglas Cemetery web page states: "...Douglas Park Cemetery located at 9th and Ash was established in 1902, to replace the original "Pioneer Cemetery" north of the city. The cemetery is a 40-acre site with about 5200 total interments to date. The Douglas Historic Preservation Commission has developed a Walking Tour Brochure of the cemetery highlighting a variety of characters who built the City of Douglas. Find a Funeral Home and/or Mortuary

Did you know, the funeral home that handled the final arrangements for your ancestor might still be in business?  And, depending on the State and/or County involved, records from that funeral home could very well be available for research!  So if you KNOW the cemetery and/or the funeral home, contact either and ask the important question "Would you help me please?"

Being a County or State Administrator is fun and rewarding. If you have an interest in the history of Wyoming and the genealogy of it's residents please consider it. If you think "there is no way I can do this" there are many people ready, willing and able to help you. It's not near as difficult as you might think.
