What's the difference..

between a query, mail list, message board?

This format provide a means for submitting a query

When you subscribe to a mail list you also submit a query but in a list format for subscribers to see.

Message boards are a means of submitting a message in an open format - no subscription necessary.  Both message boards and mail lists are usually moderated to reduce spam and nuisance submissions.

98-08 Query I am trying to find out any information about the Query family in Teton County. The only information that I know for sure to be true is for my Great Grandmother, Merna Marie Query.

She was born on 13 April in 1907. Her father's name might have been Lionel Leslie Query and her mother's name was Minnie Elizabeth Query. I know that this family was one of the first ones to really homestead the Jackson area and that Merna's father's spurs are in the history museum in downtown Jackson.

This is the only information that I am able to go by and would love to learn more about them. Anything that you can give me I would appreciate. Thank you for your help.
