Berry Moore of the Upper Grovont brought his wife and two youngest children to Kelly Tuesday, as they ere en route to the home of Mrs. Moore's mother in Oregon. Mr. Moore brought down the rest of his horses which he took to the Skinner ranch for feeding until the grassing season opens.

John Woodward returned this week from Thermopolis where he has been for treatment, much improved in health.

Gil Huff is building a bridge across the Grovont near his ranch formerly known as the Bierer place.  Forest Rangers Gunther and Strober are assisting in the work.

John Kneedy returned Saturday from Victor, Idaho, where he had been for the turbine wheel for the Kelly Power plant.

Mrs. Maude Rodman leaves Tuesday for the yellowstone park, where he will be employed for the next few months.

Ollie Smith has purchased the Shinkle ranch, and has moved his family there.

The first lumber for the new hall at Kelly arrived on the ground Saturday, April 24th, and work will be commenced on the building as soon as possible.

charles Allen is enlarging the capal on his ranch, and has employed two men from Elk to shoot out the rock.

Charles Allen and James Budge, Jr., went to Victor last week for materials for the new Kelly dance hall.  Warren Henrie also went over for the same purpose later in the week.

W. J. Kelly lost a valuable saddle horse early last week.  The animal died from injuries received from snagging.

The home of James Budge narrowly escaped being burned to the ground Wednesday, when his young daughter set fire to a window screen while playing with matches.

Mrs. Charles Allen, Mrs. James Budge and baby, and Miss Maude Smith spend Sunday at the home of Forest Ranger Strober and wife.

A dance was held in what was formerly the old Kelly dance hall, Monday evening, May 4.  Music was furnished by John Woodward and Mrs. Wm. Strober. The usual good time was enjoyed by all present.
