Wilson, Irene Clara Jacobs

In Loving Memory

Irene Clara Wilson, 76, of Sheridan passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Westview Health Care Center.

Mrs. Wilson was born on April 27, 1928, in Sheridan, to Charles and Catherine (Eckerman) Jacobs. She married James T. Wilson in Sheridan on December 26, 1962 and the couple raised five children together. Her employment in the Sheridan area was vast, including working in the Holy Name cafeteria, Buckingham Transport, Boyd’s Supermarket, bookkeeping for Gamble Robinson’s, as well as being co-owner of Sheridan Home Delivery. Irene enjoyed tole painting, crossword puzzles, spending time in the Big Horn Mountains, and horse racing. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband James of Sheridan; her four sons, Steve Overgaard and his wife Tammy of Sarasota, FL, Alan Wilson and his wife Karyn of Chattanooga, TN, David Wilson of Sheridan, and Thomas Wilson of Sheridan; her daughter, Kathryn Harrison and her husband James of Sheridan; her eleven grandchildren, Amanda Malyurek, Jacob Harrison, Pam Aho, Jeff Overgaard, Kayla Wilson, A.C. Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Jason Wilson, Jandy Wilson, Josh Morris, and Daryl Wing; her five great-grandchildren; and her special friends, Denice Rollins, Rosie Justice, and Mary Emme.
