Sheridan County ObituariesRoss, Robert WesleySheridan Press, December 22, 2000 BILLINGS — Robert Wesley Ross, 73, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Atwood Family Chapel in Greybull. A brief graveside service is 11 a.m. at the Hillside Cemetery in Greybull. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association or to the charity of your choice. Mr. Ross was born March 12, 1927, in Sheridan, to Angus and Maude (Hamel) Ross. He graduated from the Colorado State University earning a degree in civil engineering. He served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery unit commander. He married Betty Shirran of Greybull Dec. 29, 1955, in Greybull. They had one son, Jerry. He is survived by his son, Jerry, of Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
