Sheridan County ObituariesArthur N. NelsonArthur N. Nelson Dies In Oregon Funeral services will be conducted Saturday mornings at 11 o'clock from Champion's drawning room for Arthur N. Nelson, Banner rancher, who died last Saturday in Portland, Ore., while visiting his relatives. Mr. Nelson, 64, had lived in the area 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha, in 1947. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Jenkins on Banner. Mrs. Harry Adsit of Big Horn: two sons, Earl and Clarence Nelson of Banner, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs Carrie Swinyer of Sheridan. The Rev. Ray R. Kreps, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Sheridan municipal cemetery. Elizabeth NelsonSheridan Press Friday December 29, 1944 ELIZABETH NELSON DIES WEDNESDAY Mrs. Nelson was born March 28, 1858 in Wisconsin. She had resided in Sheridan 35 years. Her husband, Nathan Z. Nelson preceded her in death in 1932. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Swinyer of Sheridan, one son, Arthur N. Nelson of Sheridan; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be help Saturday at 2 p.m. in Champion's Drawing room, Rev. H. L.
Elston Nathan Z. NelsonSheridan Press Jan 17, 1934 N.Z. NELSON, 85 DIES IN SHERIDAN Nathan Z. Nelson, 85 of 619 Carlin street, who has been a resident of sheridan for the past 25 years, died at his home late last night after a long illness. Mr. Nelson was born in the state of Wisconsin in 1849. He is survived by his widow, Elixabeth N. Nelson: two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Swinyer of Oregon and Mrs. Carrie Swinyer of Sheridan: a son Arthur N. Nelson, of Sheridan; a brother in Oregon and ten grandchildren. The body is at Champion's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. |
