Sheridan County ObituariesKolden, Bret A.Sheridan Press, June 30, 1994 Bret A. Kolden died in a construction accident in Helena, Mont., June 30. He was 35. He was born May 22, 1959, in Karlstad, Minn., to Arthur and Dolores Kolden. He grew up and graduated from high school in Minnesota. He came to Wyoming in 1981 working construction. On Aug. 31, 1991, he married Martha Frye in Cody. They came to Sheridan in 1991 where he continued to work in construction. Survivors include his wife Martha and their son Jake of Sheridan; his parents of Middle River, Minn.; two brothers, Bruce Kolden of Middle River and Syver Kolden of Hibbing, Minn.; and a sister, Twila Brandon of Middle River. Memorials may benefit the Jake Kolden Educational Fund, in care of Delphaine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Sheridan. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Schwarz officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
