Fairbank, Claude Lloyd

Sheridan Press, December 21, 2000

Claude Lloyd Fairbank, 71, of Sheridan died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Sheridan Manor. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Fairbank was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Sheridan to Claude A. and Anna Krezlock Fairbank. He worked as a rancher and as a carpenter. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid reader. He also loved to cook and bake. He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge, the Moose Lodge and the Big Horn Mountain Search and Rescue Team. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include four children, Sharon Kay Stone, Dean A. Fairbank, and Sheila B. Still, of Abingdon, Ill., and Claudia M. Martin of Metamora, ill.; his brother, Glen Fairbank of Sheridan; a sister, Janette Plott of Sheridan; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Kane Funeral Home handled arrangements.
