The Hot Springs County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday,
November 13, 2014, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Office at the Governmental
Annex building. Present were Commissioners Mike Baker and John P. Lumley. Also present were County Clerk Nina Webber and Administrative Assistant Penny Herdt. Commissioner Basse was out of town and unable to attend the meeting. Approve Agenda
John Lumley made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Mike Baker seconded the
motion. Motion carried.The Commissioners reviewed a draft letter commenting on the EPA-proposed rule to define “Waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act. Comments on this rule are due to the EPA by November 14, 2014. After completion of the review, changes were made per suggestions by each commissioner. John Lumley moved to approve the Commissioners’ signatures on the comment letter regarding the EPA-proposed rule to define “Waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act to be sent to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and Army Secretary John M. McHugh. Mike Baker seconded the motion. Discussion: the Letter will be copied to Wyoming’s Congressional delegation and the County Planner. Motion carried. The letter will be sent via e-mail and followed by regular mail. There being no further business to come before the Commission, John Lumley moved to adjourn. Chairman Baker adjourned the meeting at 10:10 a.m. | ||
