| The Hot Springs County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday, February 08, 2011, at 8:00 a.m. in the meeting room at the Government Annex. Present were Commissioners John P. Lumley, Brad W. Basse and Mike Baker. Also present was County Clerk, Hans Odde and Administrative Assistant to the Commissioners Penny Herdt. Chairman John P. Lumley led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Agenda Brad W. Basse made a motion to approve the agenda. John P. Lumley seconded the motion. Motion carried. Executive Session Brad W. Basse moved to enter Executive Session at 8:05 a.m. for reasons of potential litigation. Mike Baker seconded the motion. Motion carried. Brad W. Basse moved to leave Executive Session at 8:40 a.m. Mike Baker seconded the motion. Motion carried. No action was taken during the Executive Session. The Commissioners reviewed the comment letter drafted by their outside counsel regarding the BIA Trust Land issue. Brad Basse moved to approve the letter for signature by Maryt Frederickson for the Hot Springs County Board of Commissioners with minor corrections as discussed. Mike Baker seconded the motion. Motion carried. Staff will notify Ms. Frederickson of the approval and requested changes. There being no further business before the Board at this time, Brad W. Basse moved to adjourn at 8:42 a.m. John P. Lumley seconded. Motion carried. | ||
